Flooding in Tillamook
Well, that didn’t take long. Before I bought the home I made sure the flood certificate was adequate (home is 16.8 ft above the river and no history of flooding in the home).
Or was it?
My land between the home and river turned into…………the river.

Let’s not do this again, shall we? These photos taken from my front porch. And the water came up to the foundation of the home.
Tillamook
It couldn’t be helped, I had to buy a home in Tillamook. Ice cream, cheese, lush valley, cows, stone’s throw from several beaches, rivers full of fish.
Heaven.
Music and Nature
I have created a music video that pairs my photos with some of my current favorite piano music. I have been playing classical piano since age 6.

I bought a cabin
I recently bought a cabin in Hesperus, Colorado. I love it thus far. I intend on making upgrades to it, including meditation gardens. I will be documenting the changes here on my blog. I’m a green thumb and am super excited about the greenhouse. I also don’t mind the sauna and jacuzzi.
Oh! I also have a big huge pond! Pics of that coming.
I purchased all of the internal furniture on Facebook Marketplace for $2,630. Including a baby grand Wang Chung.
I will be bringing in solar panels to provide energy source for both home and pond.
